SCF stands for Southern California Fibershed, a network of artisans and activists, ranchers, farmers and makers that stretches from San Luis Obispo to San Diego. The wool being utilized here comes from the sheep outfit Cuyama Lamb, based in Santa Barbara, distributed by Coachella Valley Yarn, and hand dyed with invasive plants of Los Angeles by Jaqueline Kyoda of Huemane .
Additional collaborators include artist Barbara Madley who created the pattern and made the sweaters by hand on a knitting machine, and hand cranked socks by Gynna Handmade from the Northern California Fibershed.
